So far, visually Corsairs Legacy - Pirate Action RPG looks pretty decent. I just feel that they are not doing the best job of showing people how great this game can be. You can improve your pirate as there is a lot of progression in the game and there will be a ton of quests, characters to interact with, and so on. This is an action RPG where you can get into swashbuckling sword fights and use your gun when the sword is not good enough. However, the gameplay trailer that is currently on Steam for this is terrible, it looks slow and boring and nothing like what I am sure the final game will be. The popularity of games like Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag, Sea of Thieves, and if you want to go old school, Monkey Island show that there is a desire for pirate games.
One of the main problems that I feel Corsairs Legacy - Pirate Action RPG is going to have is winning people over. The main character is even called Jack… which is a little on the nose if I am being honest, but the idea of playing as a pirate who is trying to live his best pirate life is something that I can certainly get behind.
